Hello LessWatts, I have a question of a slightly odd nature. A company I work for is thinking about donating CPU resources using BOINC so the CPUs would be pegged at 100% use all the time (but usually limited to the lowest Mhz). All the machines have Celeron processors so there is no SpeedStep technology to keep anything at the lowest Mhz. They are all laptops. Since there is no speedstep would using BOINC have no (or minimal effect) on power usage?
