Hi, I'm currently using powertop to reduce the power consumption when idle of PostgreSQL, which is very important in virtualised environments.
As great as powertop is at measuring my progress, I'd really like to see its instrumentation per-process. Currently, I can only see it per process group. PostgreSQL has a multi-process architecture, so it would be great if I knew which processes (each of which represents different subsystems or database connections) to target first.
