Abstract
Gaussian mixture is a powerful tool for modeling the patch prior. In
this work, a probabilistic view of an existing algorithm piecewise
linear estimation (PLE) for image inpainting is presented which leads to
several theoretical and numerical improvements based on an effective use
of Gaussian mixture.
