It was unfair of me to dump this out there and then leave it hanging.
The big issue from our perspective, offhand, is that it appears to be
designed/implemented to re-invent the isolated social network wheel.
You're not installing it in an individual instance of wordpress and
then connecting with other instances (as DiSo has been talking about,
though not delivering, for ages) but installing within wordpress
multi-user and using that to build a network within the one
wordpress-mu install. Creating new large islands, in other words, not
connecting smaller islands like laconi.ca can do.

There are other little things (breaks wp openid plugin, 'messaging' is
internal, walled-garden messaging, fb-style instead of email, etc.)
but that one is the big one from our perspective.

That said, I bet we'll see it pick up steam, as wordpress has done; it
at least seems worth looking at as a starting point if one were going
to try to build a libre social network.
