I'm also interested in where this is being discussed as a "launch" - was this personal email, or on a mailing list somewhere? In any case code.autonomo.us is a planning and early development phase project started by Bradley Kuhn and myself at the Free Software Foundation's Libre Planet 2009 conference. I think the current http://code.autonomo.us site makes that, and a link to what the autonomo.us group is about, pretty clear, but if you have suggestion on how to make that more clear (or would just like access to make changes to the wiki directly), please tell us. The insights of interested non-technical people are a valuable commodity; many of us are so comfortable with technology that it has become nonobvious what needs to be expounded upon for a more nontechnical audience. If you would like to interview someone for an article or blog post I am sure the group could make some people available; also feel free to drop by #autonomo.us on freenode IRC to chat with us (I'm djbclark there).
