The Ubuntu Community Council -- the project's supreme governance board --
has, after the first 18 month or so of the project, been made up
primarily by non-Canonical employees.  Corey Burger, who filed the bug
that you mentioned earlier, was on that board until very recently (his
membership expired and he chose not to stand for another term). I am on
that board as well.

This issue is already on the agenda for the next community council
meeting.
