Doing a bit of software testing using my day to day computing, I have been looking for solutions to synchronize two installs of Thunderbird, one on a work Macintosh and one on a home Ubuntu install.
I can get TB to synch my Imap mail and Lightning to sync my calendar. I can sync my contacts also. There is a tasks list however that doesn't work. An AGPL task list seems like it would be low hanging fruit for software to develop that could be AGPL where the developer runs the flagship installation and pioneers the open standard (like Laconi.ca). Task lists have been made popular by weirdos like David Allen, Remember the Milk and Lifehacker, so I am guessing that a web based task list is something many people would use. It is also something that would really benefit being implemented in an AGPL way. Just scratchin' my own itch here... --ian-- _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.autonomo.us/mailman/listinfo/discuss
