Hi all,

You may have seen today's blog post (https://carpentries.org/blog/
2018/06/programmatic-assessment/), slack discussion, or tweets about our
new Programmatic Assessment Report (2012 - 2018 Q1). I wanted to personally
reach out and invite you all to take a look at it.

Even though I’ve been on The Carpentries staff for almost three years and
involved with The Carpentries for almost five years, there was still a lot
that surprised and excited me about our findings. You can read more about
that in the blog post and check out the report itself here:
https://carpentries.github.io/assessment/programmatic-
assessment/workshops/outputs/final_report.html

Since 2012, 58 Trainers badged 1480 instructors who taught 1332 workshops
reaching over 37,000 learners in 44 countries. This reflects significant
growth that all members of The Carpentries community were integral to and
should be proud of. It also presents many growth opportunities as we take
what we have learned and accomplished as we grow bigger, better, and
stronger.

Please check out the report and provide feedback. Feedback can be shared
via issues in this GitHub repo (https://github.com/carpentries/assessment)
or via email to [email protected]. Thanks for all you do for The
Carpentries community!
