The Library at UC Merced is hiring a Data Curation postdoc. The skills they are looking for have lots of overlap with Data Carpentry. The librarian supervising the position, Emily Lin, led the push for UC Merced to join the Carpentries as a member organization - which will be official as of July 1! Yay!
UC Merced is an exciting place to be - major campus expansion, it is a Hispanic serving institution, and has a campus focus on computing and data openness. I have been very impressed with the libraries and their forward thinking approaches to training and data sharing.
