Following the success of the inaugural CarpentryCon in Dublin earlier
this year, we are pleased to announce that the Software Sustainability
Institute is organising a CarpentryConnect event on 25-27 June 2019 in
Manchester, in collaboration with Manchester’s Cathie Marsh Institute
for Social Research <https://www.cmist.manchester.ac.uk/>and with
support from Manchester’s Data Science Institute
<http://www.datascience.manchester.ac.uk/>.
We are looking to host around 100 attendees from the Carpentry community
in the UK and Europe with an international mix, and have a programme
aiming for community building in training and full of interesting talks,
break-out sessions and practical workshops. The conference will be held
at The Studio Manchester <http://studiovenues.co.uk/venues/manchester/>.
