Hi all, 2018 is 95% complete, so in order to reach 100% on a high note we will be having a CarpentryCon TF onboarding call this Tuesday.
The CarpentryCon Task Force <https://carpentries.org/carp-con-tf/>’s mission is organize and host a meeting every two years to bring together members of the global Carpentries community and people with similar interests. And right now we are looking for new members to join the Task Force to build the next CarpentryCon, scheduled for 2020. In order to accommodate all time zones, we will be having two calls this Tuesday December 18th; the 1st call will take place at 9 am GMT (click here for your local time equivalent <https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?msg=CarpentryCon&iso=20181218T11&p1=1428&ah=1>) and the 2nd call will take place at 5 pm GMT (click here for your local time equivalent <https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?msg=CarpentryCon&iso=20181218T19&p1=1428&ah=1>). During both calls, the discussion will focus primarily on answering questions regarding the role, activities, responsibilities and expectations of the members in the CarpentryCon Task Force.
