Hi folks, I'm midway through Instructor instructor training and one of my answers to the discussion questions had me looking for longitudinal surveys of workshop participants. I wasn't able to find any, and MQ has a significant learner cohort. Before I start making up my own questions for the ethics process, I'm wondering if any of you folks had already created these surveys? It'd be amazing to be able to combine datasets and it would be very foolish to duplicate work where someone else has already started.
Specifically, my thoughts for the longitudinal survey would be to email workshop participants every 3 months after the workshop to see if they were (and how) they were engaging in tools taught in the workshop (rather than the non-operationalised self assessment found in the post workshop survey, which is designed for a very different outcome.) Cheers. -Brian ------------------------------------------ The Carpentries: discuss Permalink: https://carpentries.topicbox.com/groups/discuss/T1e242ba9b3a6ef99-M8fd7f248b8cfe48b29fa47b2 Delivery options: https://carpentries.topicbox.com/groups/discuss/subscription
