Hello colleagues,

Earlier this year I submitted an abstract for a talk at SciPy called
"Community-driven efforts to translate Python tutorials into Spanish" based our
experience translating the Data Carpentries python lesson
<https://datacarpentry.org/python-ecology-lesson-es/> (1).  My abstract was
*not* accepted :( All reviewers said that the topic was highly relevant and at
the intersection of  "open source community management and the global politics
of diverse inclusion" but that it lacked "any technical aspects".

So, I decided to turn my abstract into a bilingual poster and share it widely!
I've gotten very positive feedback, with people saying that it's easy to read
and definitely increases the accessibility of the content.

You can* view the poster * on Overleaf at

Hope you find it useful! Comments welcome :)

Best,
Rayna
