Hi all,

The Carpentries Executive Council has spent a significant amount of time this
year fleshing out, finalising, and approving a number of different governing
documents and policies for the organisation that will allow us to proceed more
efficiently in the future with the more exciting and engaging activities of
“being” The Carpentries.

We wanted to share these updates and links to relevant resources and
information. Please see our blog
post<https://carpentries.org/blog/2019/10/executive-council-policy-making-update/>
 for more information!

As a reminder, if you have a question or concern about EC operations, there are
two ways you should feel free to communicate with us:

  1. File an
issue<https://github.com/carpentries/executive-council-info/issues> in this
repository. This is appropriate if you would like to solicit additional
community feedback on a topic of general interest to the community.
  2. Submit this
form<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScdo7AlYfeQN-z5dnO-p8KVI8t17kQUc1VH-Cvrlga5txIwCA/viewform?usp=sf_link>.
This is preferable if you would like confidential communication with the EC,
or if you would like to remain anonymous.
Best,

~ Amy
