Dear colleagues,

I was fortunate to meet Prof Alexandre Lyambabaje and Ben Ruhinda,
respectively the Executive Secretary and Senior Systems Officer of the
Inter-University Council for East Africa (www.iucea.org) recently.

They were both very interested in bringing the Carpentries to Uganda (where
they are both based) but also broader to their network.

*Is there anyone in this community who is interested to work with them to
get a Carpentries workshop off the ground to start off with? *I know there
are often international instructors already collaborating with various
countries on the African continent and was hoping we could capitalise on an
existing network/collaboration and expand on that.

(Also copied Daniel Ouso and Prof Patrick Weke from Kenya in the hope that
there can be cross-fertilisation between Kenya/Uganda).

Looking forward to hearing from interested people.

Kind regards,

Anelda
