The Carpentries Community at UW-Madison taught this workshop. I was a helper. I think that the curriculum is really well-vetted. It went very smoothly. We did the GIS concepts lesson, the R basics lesson, and the vector and raster lessons in 2 days. We had to cut much of the content in the last 2 lessons. I think it should be at least 2.5 days to do all of it, but i think that depending on the audience, you could cut either R or the GIS lesson.
