Hi All, I am writing to share that I will be moving on from my Executive Director role with The Carpentries in January, 2020. The Executive Council and I have a blog post up about the transition <http://static.carpentries.org/blog/2019/12/executive-director-transition/>. Dr. Kari Jordan will serve as the Acting Executive Director and the Executive Council will launch the search for the new Executive Director shortly. While I am leaving The Carpentries, I will still be working to democratize data and empower people in their work (more soon!).
I have truly valued the opportunity to work with all of you throughout my time as Executive Director. With The Carpentries Executive Council at the helm, our current team, structures, community and resources, I am confident in the continued success of the organization. Our work in the community and as people is never finished. It has been a true honor and privilege to work with you all - people who not only move the mission forward and empower others, but embody our values and bring joy and courage to their work every day.
