*Hi all,*

Due to stringent measures taken to help curb the spread of COVID-19, remote
teaching and learning is quickly becoming a priority for institutions around
the world. The Carpentries community has extensive experience in both teaching
and learning online, and following great suggestions from Lex Nederbragt  and
Laura Acion on Slack, we would like to share helpful tips with others that may
be starting out in this regard.

We have set up a google doc
<https://docs.google.com/document/d/1MdmrNn5g2oa2AA6EGYZhyDx-O_YOoH_HqNGsmP6LKIo/edit?usp=sharing>
 and GitHub issue <https://github.com/carpentries/conversations/issues/24> in
our Carpentries Conversations repository with a few prompts to help us work
towards a collaborative blog post with tips for teaching and learning online.
We value all contributions and are really keen to draw from varied experiences
in our community, so please don't hesitate to contribute where you can.
