Hey Carpentries Community, Our shift to virtual instruction has impacted our Workshop Administration Team in unprecedented ways. In the past 6 months, our volunteer instructors have met the demand for online technical skills training. Due to an end-of-the year surge in workshop requests, coupled with a reduction in instructor availability due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are having difficulty recruiting instructors.
Currently, we have 11 centrally-organised workshops requested between now and the end of the year and are in need of both Experience and Supporting Instructors for most of the workshops.
