*Help CUNY City Tech UI/UX student by taking gateway accessibility survey *
**
If you operate a science gateway or data portal, it is important to maintain
and update it so that your content is accessible and easy to find and use. My
student at CUNY City Tech, Ashley Varon, is conducting a survey on gateway
accessibility as part of her senior honors project in UX and UI Design and
would very much appreciate your participation.

The survey is available here: https://bit.ly/Gateway-Accessibility-Survey.
Please feel free to share the survey widely to gateway and data portal
operators in your network.

This project will help improve the Information Architecture Gateway, which
supports designs and interfaces that help people and machines better access
gateways.

About Science Gateways: Science gateways are online interfaces that give
researchers, educators, and students easy access to specialized, shared
resources that are specific to a science or engineering discipline. For
example, they may connect to or between instruments (such as telescopes or
sensors), data collections, specialized software, or high-performance
computing. While the use of gateways can improve the productivity of
researchers significantly, the process of developing, operating, and sustaining
a gateway can prove challenging and time consuming. The Science Gateways
Community Institute offers services and resources that aim to fill that gap,
including Education & Training, Networking & Community and hands-on Gateway
Development Support. Learn more at sciencegateways.org.
