Hi Carpentries community,

Our center (the Center for High Throughput Computing) would like to invite you
to HTCondor Week 2022, our annual HTCondor user conference, May 23-26, 2022.

HTCondor is a scheduling software (akin to SLURM, PBS, etc.) that is optimized
for scheduling high throughput computing workloads and managing physically
distributed or opportunistic hardware as a single “cluster.” HTCondor Week
features a day of tutorials from both the user (submitting jobs) and
administrator (managing a cluster with HTCondor) perspective, two days of talks
from the HTCondor community, and then a half-day of talks from local
researchers at UW Madison who have used HTCondor to run their work.
If you are a systems administrator who is running a cluster or someone who is
likely to use HTCondor in the future, this is a great way to learn more and get
connected with the community.

There are two options for attending – online and in person

  * Online: $25 for the whole week; sessions will be during the day in US
Central Time (UTC - 5)
  * In person (Madison WI): $90 / day – registration closes this weekend

A schedule + registration information is available here:

Cheers,
Christina
