Hi everyone, As you may have seen in a blog post last week, The Carpentries is looking for community leaders to form Lesson Program Governance Committees for Software Carpentry, Library Carpentry, and Data Carpentry.
Each committee of 3-5 people will be responsible for guiding the strategy of the lesson program, advocating for it, and communicating with the Executive Council and the wider community about its needs and goals. Onboarding sessions and ongoing support will be provided to committee members by the Core Team. This is a great opportunity to get involved in the development and strengthening of our lesson programs, to gain experience of community governance, and to help us establish more community leadership for The Carpentries.
