Hi Everyone, We’re running a Foundations of Astronomical Data Science workshop at the American Astronomical Society Winter meeting (Jan 6-7, 2024) and looking for instructors and helpers. Instructors: we can cover your hotel (3 night) and travel. You must register for the meeting yourself. Helpers: if you can commit today or tomorrow, you can sign up to be a AAS volunteer and get free registration. This covers your registration and helping at the workshop satisfies your volunteer hours so you’ll be free for the rest of the meeting. This is especially well suited for local (New Orleans) volunteers who might not otherwise be able to afford the meeting registration.
