The event is scheduled to take place in Heidelberg, Germany, from November 12th to 14th, 2024, under the theme "_Community-led Training Beyond Academia_" . Our aim is to bring together members of The Carpentries, the _Bio Network for Training_ (BioNT) consortium, and other related communities interested in open, inclusive, and people-focused professional education.
This event is for you if: * You are interested in continuous learning. * You work in or contribute to the delivery of training in digital skills to researchers and other professionals. * You want to learn about and get involved in Open Source education efforts. * You want to explore the similarities and differences in professional development needs and opportunities between academic and non-academic communities. To build a diverse and highly interactive program, the organising committee is seeking your ideas for: * Breakout discussions. * Skill-ups, training sessions, and workshops. * Lightning talks and posters. * Mini-collaboration drives and curriculum development sessions. You learn more about each of the different types of session and find a link to the submission form in the announcement _blog post_ <https://carpentries.org/blog/2024/02/cchd24-call-for-proposals/>.
