Over the last few weeks (with interruptions for holidays) I've finally managed to get a basically functional sparc version of Tribblix built. There's an iso available from here:
http://www.tribblix.org/download.html The list of caveats is so long that I'll just say - this is very much experimental. It works for me, in an LDOM running on a T5140. Well, most of the time. I see no reason why it shouldn't run on similar bare-metal T-series, but haven't yet managed to test it on anything other than an LDOM. It's a recent illumos build, the same as my corresponding x86 release from early December, so just catches the fix for #5421. There's much more to be done - building illumos-gate on it probably won't work yet (but I should be able to get that to work, it's just a case of finding the time). It's bootstrapped off Martin's OpenSXCE. There are still bits from OpenSXCE in there (none of the illumos bits, but there are other components I haven't yet got round to building from scratch). So I'm very grateful to Martin and all the work he's done to keep OpenSXCE alive. -- -Peter Tribble http://www.petertribble.co.uk/ - http://ptribble.blogspot.com/ ------------------------------------------- illumos-discuss Archives: https://www.listbox.com/member/archive/182180/=now RSS Feed: https://www.listbox.com/member/archive/rss/182180/21175430-2e6923be Modify Your Subscription: https://www.listbox.com/member/?member_id=21175430&id_secret=21175430-6a77cda4 Powered by Listbox: http://www.listbox.com
