As for the mDNS messages, to be ignored now too, as I had omitted to disable pkgsrc mDNSResponder when I enabled dns/multicast for the smb tests... |-( sorry for the noise there. same situation though, guess I can't tell either if "nobody has the problem when using WORKGROUP" or that "nobody uses WORKGROUP".
