First of all, it's for OpenIndiana userland, not for illumos-gate, if it wasn't clear. I've seen several applications which wanted to use libusb 1.0, so having it seems good.
Maybe it would be better to add a di_prop_exists function to libdevinfo.
Perhaps, but I'd like to see what can be done without touching illumos-gate. I doubt I'll be able to add di_prop_exists(), but I hope I can fix the code to work on illumos.
