:( I tried all of these. The fun part is the repo is a local repo, the one built by make publish, not running on http, and I already tried removing it all and pkgrepo create again: make publish works creating everything, files are there, but pkg list does not list them unless with -af... Also distro_const, at the end, fails because it does not find the packages there... :( Maybe I should force an install on the dev machine? Actually it has a same package, but older. That should not disturb distro_const, though, isn't it? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sonicle S.r.l. : http://www.sonicle.com Music: http://www.gabrielebulfon.com Quantum Mechanics : http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/gabrielebulfon ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Da: Alexander Pyhalov A: disc...@lists.illumos.org Cc: Gabriele Bulfon Data: 4 maggio 2016 17.25.06 CEST Oggetto: Re: [discuss] pkg list not showing some packages On 05/04/2016 18:15, Gabriele Bulfon wrote: Hi, I recently rebuilt some packages from the same old userland I use everyday. At once, the new packages looks hidden: present in the repo filesystem, not listed via pkg list, only via pkg list -af What can I do to let me be notified by pkg about why these pkgs are considered "not installable"? I can't see the reason...I just run the same make publish I always run on the same userland, but new packages are like this. I also tried creating the userland i386/repo from scratch, but every new make publish produces the problem... Any idea? Hi. Don't know if it your case, but sometimes the following helps me. a) pkgrepo refresh -s /path/to/the/repo b) svcadm restart pkg/server:instance c) pkg refresh (or even pkg refresh --full) If everything is bad, you can try rebuilding repository (pkgrepo rebuild). -- Best regards, Alexander Pyhalov, system administrator of Southern Federal University IT department
