I found the reason for the errors while browsing the local repository:
I had launched pkg.depot throgh "onu -r ..." taken from /opt/onbld...
I tried running :
cd /code/illumos-gate
pfexec ./usr/src/tools/scripts/onu -d /code/illumos-gate/packages/i386/nightly 
-r -U on-nightly
and now I can correctly browse every link in the depot.
BUT
distro_const still complains....
pkg: No version of SUNWcsd can be installed:
pkg://on-nightly/[email protected],5.11-0.147:20100827T130651Z: Suitable required 
dependency pkg:/[email protected],5.11-0.147 cannot be found
Unable to install pkg:/SUNWcsd pkg:/SUNWcs in /rpool/dc/build_data/pkg_image

Actually, yes. But that's also interesting moment: how it is possible
to run into this problem, actually?.. Normally it is installed by
default, if one used snv_134 ISO, for example. Hmmm...
