This is not sufficient. If you get a ZFS pool that includes files with an 
un-supported compression algorithm, you still could permit to read all other 
files.

You would need to forbid opening related files.

ZFS could act as a removable file system in case you manage to permit using it
from implementations that do not support congruent feature sets.
