How shall I understand this?

What had stolen me many months (over many years) was getting Xorg to
function at least a minimal bit on SPARC.
Despite of these problems I released 3 basic LiveCD's for SPARC and 1 for
amd64 from April 2006 to August 2008.
So far MartUX has been the first and only non-Sun "Distribution" for SPARC,
with a single exception, namely one MilaX release (see chapter in
OpenSolaris Bible).

If I told you on this list, that I worked on getting openXsun to function,
and now it does work.
And that I'm now in the progess of building OpenIndiana for SPARC, you only
comment on that is, that:

but thus far it's seemed unilkely

?

And this is all I heard from anyone from Illumos as a response.

Maybe it was a mistake, that I didn't base it on an older nv such as
nv_125, and call it MartUX or SolarFlare, or that I didn't join SchilliX.

Yes, it is time-consuming.
And I did do other things for 2 years.
But if that's your "welcome back" message, then it disappoints me.

But as I said: The main stumble stone to me (from my workstation focussed
point of view) was getting a functional X11, as I have and always had
Desktop users at system console in mind.
And now with openXsun _nothing_ can stop me.
And I can swear you, that I didn't keep a room full of SPARC test hardware
without a purpose.

But so much for writing emails instead of code.
Some silence from me to follow.
You hear from me later in August.
And my next message, definitely still in August, will contain download
links.
On average I have only 3 hours per day for it. Otherwise it would be
available faster.
