In the REALLY old days of data-less workstations, /usr/kernel wouldn't be
loaded until after NFS was up and running.

These days, I don't think /usr/kernel is included as part of the boot archive
for grub, so if you module needs to be loaded prior to the root filesystem
being up and running, I think you need to include it in /kernel.

I'm not 100% sure about this, and look forward to be confirmed, denied,
and/or educated.
