Well no. Most of the libraries will be replaced by up to date versions, and applications ought to run without a hitch. It'll take time. I'm running the S10 firefox 16.0.1, which has its own private copies of many libraries (as the ones shipped with S10 are too old) and it works just fine. > I do like the idea of a relatively spartan desktop.
