Good to know about the MD 3260, I hadn't seen that before.  I'm not sure how I 
feel about stuffing 60 drives in 4U, I always thought Sun was crazy putting 48 
drives in 4U with the x4500/x4540 but I when you don't need space for a 
motherboard/expansion cards I guess you've got space for another dozen disks. I 
for one certainly don't have a data center which can handle the heat output of 
600 drives but if you need a petabyte of storage it might as well fit in a 
single rack ;)
