I wish I did. As least I can find I on the logs. I will try a few more things 
and talk to the user and see if we can recreate the problem. It is proving 
difficult so far, sorry for the late reply. All that seems to be consistent is 
that user cannot delete the file  even if they try again, for the next day 
after a reboot. An windows administrator account has no problems,  and the 
directory have all the correct NTFS permissions and looks like they should 
delete it. The user who cannot delete is the creator owner, which may be a clue.

I also have reports of users updating excel spread sheet and saving them and 
coming back the next day for the changes to no longer be there. I have in the 
pasted put this off as user error, but I now definitely have a helpdesk call 
from our lead developer, who is pedantic enough I believe it was not a user 
error in this case.  Also backed up by enough I think I saved it cases that I 
think it has happened a few times.  I guess this could be the same bug, but 
this is more worrying for me.

I will do some more investigation and hopefully have more to report.
