No, it's really not. The reason that sysevents exist right now is that
it pays attention to the creation and destruction of zones to try and
create and clean up these kinds of sockets and doors. Really you end up
wanting a more first class device for this in the kernel and I have some
ideas for how to do that leveraging the dynamic node facilities in sdev
and a saner plugin interface for it that I have in progress for other work.
