Same thing - if I run it by hand once logged in under the same environment, it works fine. If I comment out the call to pam_setcred in src/session-child.c (there's also a pam_set_item there that looks troublesome) then it works. I don't understand either PAM or LightDM well enough to understand what it's actually trying to do or whether removing the broken call is the right solution. > The method under /lib/svc/method, just run this on start: > > nohup /usr/sbin/lightdm >/dev/null 2>&1 & > > I tried also without nohup, just exec but no luck. > > Lxdm did not have this problem. > > Any clue? > > Gabriele. > *illumos-discuss* | > Archives<https://www.listbox.com/member/archive/182180/=now> > <https://www.listbox.com/member/archive/rss/182180/21175722-010faa19> | > Modify<https://www.listbox.com/member/?&>Your Subscription > <http://www.listbox.com> > -- -Peter Tribble http://www.petertribble.co.uk/ - http://ptribble.blogspot.com/ ------------------------------------------- illumos-discuss Archives: https://www.listbox.com/member/archive/182180/=now RSS Feed: https://www.listbox.com/member/archive/rss/182180/21175430-2e6923be Modify Your Subscription: https://www.listbox.com/member/?member_id=21175430&id_secret=21175430-6a77cda4 Powered by Listbox: http://www.listbox.com
