"zpool list -v" is a bit more parseable than "zpool status".  e.g.:

$ zpool list -Hv data
data    992G    913G    79.1G   -       92%     1.00x   ONLINE  -
        c1t1d0  248G    228G    19.6G   -
        c1t2d0  248G    228G    19.9G   -
        c1t3d0  248G    228G    20.0G   -
        c1t4d0  248G    228G    19.6G   -
