Hello all, At Delphix we are working on a patch to remove gendered pronouns (he/she/his/hers/him/her/himself/herself) in favor of gender-neutral singular pronouns (they(1)/them/themself(2)/it/its) when they don't reference specific people. Chris Williamson and I found numerous references where users are referred to as "he", which we replaced with variants on "they". In addition, we found instances where threads, servers, functions, and other inanimate objects were referred to as "he" and we replaced them with variants on "it". If you have any questions about why we feel this change is necessary please do not hesitate to email us directly or reply to this thread. We will be putting out a review on developer once it has gone through our internal review process.
