We should not have issues with IEEE 754 conformance on x86. If someone doesn't reply with a fix, email me and I'll take a look at vim and fix it. Even though I despise vim ;-)
So far I've fixed this with CFLAGS += '-std=c99 -D_XOPEN_SOURCE=600', so that vim used predefined constants.
