Did some searching online and could not find any information about Illumos being ported over to OPENPOWER (relevant now) and/or RISC-V (hopefully relevant in the not-so-distant future).
At this stage it seems self-evidently clear that a server market almost entirely dominated by Intel is not a good thing™; and thus I was wondering if there is any sort of discussion in the illumos ecosystem to support freer, more open alternatives to x86_64 in the near future.
