Objective List:
1. set up build environment[s] in LDom[s]
2. regularly produce new build media
3. boot new LDoms from new media via WanBoot
4. create & boot patched BE’s via packaging system[s] on old LDom BE’s (don’t
care what packaging system)
Considerations:
- I will do development to meet objectives
- If A & B are impossible,
Then can ancient OpenSolaris CDom support C?
- If existing SPARC distro[s] doing 1 & 2,
Then only 3 & 4 would be sufficient
- willing to do multiple distros
- willing to share all progress, all code, live LDoms
- willing to document repeatable process
- interested in other SPARC, including newer
I want to bring up a chassis ASAP,
Recommendations appreciated.
