Some feel CPU stress/burn-in tests are well-served by bootable removable drives (e.g., the venerable "Universal Boot CD").
My research suggests that common CPU tests attempt to solve hard math problems (e.g., searching for prime numbers), which make me wonder if there isn’t software that runs on Illumos/OmniOS... After some searching for packages, the only thing that seems readily available is to build Illumos itself as, presumably, that puts a heavy load on all available CPU/threads (right?) Any other options folks are using? Perhaps a coin miner, video transcoder, or a raytracer?
