It turns out my hypervisor, doesn't support direct I/O:
ldomctl: direct I/O not supported by hypervisor
I was hoping to use Illumos from within a logical domain, but give it
access to PCIe for driver development and testing.
Oh well, just have to leave it as dual boot.

Note it's not required to be visible from OpenBoot. Typically the LSI
cards work with OpenBoot, but the mpt driver is a closed source
binary, so I would like to avoid that.
I'm using OpenBSD as the host OS on a T5240, so I can play around with
various guest Illumos installations.
