ZFS Gurus,
I switched off an OminOS-based server more than a year ago. I tried to turn
the server on last week, but it never does. Being a system I built myself,
I've tried many things to get to turn on. I don't care if that hardware never
works again, but I would like to mount again a pool I had there...
This server has/had:
- an "rpool" on a CF drive.
- a raidz2 "tank" pool (6x 3.5 drives).
I happen to have another machine (also switched off) that I could press into
service, which has/had:
- an "rpool" on a CF drive.
- a raidz2 "tank" pool (3x 3.5 drives).
I have two-open Sata ports on the motherboard, and so could pretty quickly have
5x bays working.
My question is, can I plug 5 out of the 6 drives into the new machine and do a
`ZFS import tank`?
