Btw, does the installer of OpenIndiana support forcing 4k or 8k sector size at 
creation of the pool? This is so easy with FreeBSD and Linux, but as I recall 
too hard to do on the system where ZFS originated. I recall that I need to hack 
/kernel/drv/sd.conf and create the pool manually. I don't know the current 
situation with OpenIndiana and other illumoses. I no longer care about that 
now. I will use Tribblix the next time I play with illumos and just accept the 
default setting (which I recall is ashift=9). The virtual disk image is not a 
real hard disk, so I don't think it will care.
