HAMMER2 is a file system designed and implemented by Matthew Dillon for DragonFly BSD. There are ongoing ports to FreeBSD and Linux by Tomohiro Kusumi on Github. Unfortunately Github Issues is not enabled on any of the repositories. I have no way to contact the developer.
HAMMER2 on illumos will have much less maintenance burden than ZFS.
