Hi folks,
the OI cloud image seems to be quite old. And I already had some trouble updating it (eg. sshd needed special config tweaks to come up again). After update, the system seems pretty crowded with many duplicate packages (in different versions -> eg. perl stuff). For those who just wanna quickly fire up an VM (eg. like in my case running build jobs), that's pretty unpleasant. Any chance that image gets rebuilt more frequently ? What does it take to build it ? (could it be cross compiled, eg. on Linux ?) Another problem I'm facing in my CI build VM case: I need to be able to directly ssh into it, w/o prior manual intervention (eg. network setup, allow pw-less root logins, ...).
