Hi Randy

In Germany and Switzerland there is a general requirement for one Yearly meeting where the books and the Leadership gets discharged in a vote and where members can bring in Topics to have a say in the Associations work.

Since this Association will be a funding body it is not about technical decisions but more about structure and related topics. Technical topics are best discussed on the lists here. And other online groups.

While we assume that not all members would show up for every meeting having enough members does make sure we will always have enough members in every meeting.

With the amount of people already signed up I think it is ok to only participate in part of the activities we will have. One Online meeting (event) per Year and the Membership fee of 30 Euros per year is mandatory the rest is optional.

I am also thinking on how to make the meeting less tedious so that people can mingle and use it as an event to talk and meetup. I remember some software where we could do this Online.

Hope this clraifies things
Greeting
Till

- General gfx acceleration work (lots is being done by contributors now but some Code Bounties here and there do motivate more people)
- Power Management

Generally speaking, I have interest *and* knowledge in these areas, but am mostly winding down my career towards retirement.

So my question is how might a member with limited interest and contribution fit into this association (though, a supplemental question is also how much interest the community in general has for these two items, as over the last decade I've felt more reluctance than desire).

   Cheers!
