Blue Shield of California is looking for a Director of User Experience & Web Services. This Director will be responsible for implementing new capabilities, managing existing web functionality of "products" shared across Blue Shield's four online portals, and leading the User Experience team. The goal of the job is to build and maintain a robust foundation of web services that provide scaleable and reusable technology solutions that make it easy for constituents to do business with Blue Shield of California (BSC) and that are cost effective for the company. Blue Shield is undergoing a business transformation where we are shifting current sales and enrollment processes to Web-based technology platforms. This shift will help Blue Shield lower administrative costs that will help in Blue Shield's efforts to contain health care costs in the future.
